Heavy center lathe, 4,000/5,500 Watt
The INDUSTRIE 230 K models are robustly built, heavy-duty center lathes with heavy cast iron base and machine bed. Both models are equipped with an adjustable overload slipping clutch on the tool slide and, thanks to a two-stage, 4,000 or 5,500 watt drive unit, can also handle larger cutting depths. The maximum turning diameter above the machine bed is 460 mm, with the bridge removed, machining up to 630 mm is possible. Via slides, the maximum turning size is Ø 275 x 1,000 or 1,500 mm. One spindle bore with Ø 52 mm
enables the processing of 1 1/2 inch bar stock (48.3 mm).

The 230 K models are equipped with a mechanical foot brake for quick turning spindle stop and with a position stop to prevent chuck collision. A separate lead screw (lock nut) and feed spindle coupling on the tool slide is gentle on the drive and provides advantages in terms of simple handling. Also striking is the very robust tailstock for the absorption of high contact and centering forces.

The industrial 230 K models offer 12 easily adjustable speed levels from 40 to 1,800 rpm, 170 longitudinal and cross feeds and 150 pitches for metric and inch threads. Ideal for series production: Supplied with a digital position indicator from SINO and a five-piece quick-change toolholder set for efficient tool change.
