Membrane function
Membrane presses have a special air cushion in the worktop that acts like a lifting cushion. This technology compensates for height differences such as thick seams, buttons, zips or polo collars almost perfectly. When using the membrane function, there are two important points to note:
 

• The transfer should not be pressed directly over uneven areas.
• The heat resistance of the uneven areas must be ensured.
   

As the membrane function can be deactivated and the machine can also be equipped with standard worktops thanks to our quick-change system, you enjoy a high degree of flexibility.
 

Modular design
Our worktops can be easily replaced in a matter of seconds without tools thanks to a quick-change mechanism. Because the plates are free-standing, the textiles can be conveniently pulled up so that only the area to be printed comes into contact. This has the following advantages:
 

• Transfer prints on the reverse side remain protected
• Print creases are avoided
• Imprints do not show through
   

In addition to standard sizes, we also manufacture custom sizes!
 

Electrics and display
The clear display allows for quick and easy setting and reading of temperature and time.

Heating plate
Advanced micanite heating foil technology ensures rapid heating and a constant, even temperature. Our in-house manufactured heating plates come with a Teflon cover as standard, which is secured using a clamping device and can be replaced by the user at any time. In addition to standard sizes, we also manufacture customised dimensions.
 

How it works with membrane function
The pressing process on the fully automatic Air-Swing 3000 Membrane PRO membrane transfer press is started by pressing a foot or hand switch. The press swivels and presses fully automatically. During pressing, the membrane cushion fills with air and presses evenly onto the heating plate. After the preset time has elapsed, the air first escapes from the membrane cushion and then the press opens automatically. The machine can be used in automatic or manual mode. In manual mode, the swivelling is done by hand; the pressing process starts automatically as soon as the swivel arm has reached its end position above the work plate or membrane plate. It is possible to specify whether one or both plates are to be printed. The press also has a manual pre- and post-pressing function. The contact pressure can be precisely adjusted using a pressure regulator.

Operation without membrane function
The membrane function can be deactivated so that the press can be used with a conventional work plate. The workflow then corresponds to the procedure described above.
 

Consumables
The Teflon protection on the heater effectively protects the heating plate from dirt such as adhesive or paint residue and is easy to clean or replace if necessary.
A Nomex nettle cover protects the worktop and the silicone rubber and makes it easier to pull the textiles on, as they glide over the plate more easily. This cover is washable and can be replaced.
The silicone rubber on the worktop is crucial for the printing result. Different degrees of hardness of the silicone rubber pads enable a wide range of printing results. As the pads are not glued, they can be replaced with other versions at any time. We supply medium hardness as standard; softer and harder versions are also available.
