Membrane function
Membrane presses work with a special air cushion in the worktop that acts like a lifting bag. This technology ensures that uneven surfaces such as thick seams, buttons, zips or polo strips are levelled out almost perfectly. When using the membrane function, there are two important points to note:
 

• The transfer should not be pressed directly onto uneven surfaces
• The heat resistance of the uneven areas must be taken into account
   

As the membrane function can be deactivated and the machine can also be equipped with standard worktops thanks to our quick-change system, you enjoy a high degree of flexibility.
 

Modular design
A quick-change mechanism allows the worktops to be easily replaced in a matter of seconds without the need for tools. Because the plates are free-standing, the textiles can be conveniently placed on top so that only the area to be printed comes into contact with them. This has the following advantages:
 

• Transfer prints on the reverse side are protected
• No creases are created
• No marks show through

In addition to the standard sizes, we also manufacture custom sizes.

Electrics and display
Our clearly laid out control panel allows for simple, quick and easy adjustment and reading of temperature and time.

Heating plate
Thanks to the latest micanite heating foil technology, rapid heating and an even, constant temperature are guaranteed. Our self-manufactured heating plates are equipped with a Teflon cover as standard, which is attached with a clamping device and can be replaced by the user at any time. In addition to the standard sizes, we also offer customised formats.


How it works with the membrane function
For safety reasons, two push buttons must be pressed simultaneously to start the pressing process on the Air-Swing 2000 Membrane PRO pneumatic membrane press until the heating plate touches the work plate or membrane plate (two-hand safety switch). During pressing, the membrane cushion fills with air and presses evenly against the heating plate. After the set time has elapsed, the air escapes and the press opens automatically. Swivelling is done manually. The contact pressure can be precisely adjusted using a pressure regulator.


Functionality without membrane function
If the membrane function is deactivated, a conventional work plate is used; otherwise the workflow remains the same.


Consumables
The Teflon protection for the heater protects the heating surface from contamination such as adhesive residues or paint residues, is easy to clean or simply replace.
A Nomex nettle cover protects the worktop and silicone rubber and ensures that textiles glide better over the plate when pulling. It is washable and replaceable.
The silicone rubber on the work surface is crucial for the printing result. Different degrees of hardness of the rubber pads allow for a variety of printing effects. As the pads are not glued, they can be replaced at any time. We supply a medium hardness as standard, but softer and harder versions are also available.
