Membrane function Membrane presses are equipped with a special air cushion in the work surface that acts like a lifting cushion. This technique nearly completely compensates for protrusions such as thick seams, buttons, zippers, or polo strips. When using the membrane function, two essential points must be considered:
 

• The transfer must not be pressed directly over uneven surfaces.
• The heat resistance of the unevenness must be ensured.

Since the membrane function can be deactivated and the machine can also be equipped with standard worktops thru our quick-change system, it offers a high degree of flexibility.
 

Modular construction
Thanks to a quick-change device, the worktops can be easily replaced without any tools within a few seconds. Because the plates are free-standing, the textiles can be easily stretched so that only the area to be printed lies flat. This leads to the following advantages:

• Transfer prints on the back remain protected
• No print wrinkles occur
• Imprints do not show thru

In addition to standard sizes, we also produce custom sizes according to your specifications.
 

Electricity and Display
The clear and straightforward display allows for easy, quick, and uncomplicated setting and reading of temperature and time.

Heating plate
A quick heating as well as an even and constant temperature is ensured by modern mica heating film technology. Our self-manufactured heating plates are standardly equipped with a Teflon coating, which is secured with a clamping device and can be easily replaced by the customer if needed. In addition to standard sizes, we also manufacture custom sizes.

Operation with membrane function
To start the pressing process with the pneumatic membrane press Air-Swing 1000 Membrane, two push buttons must be pressed simultaneously for safety reasons until the heating plate rests on the working or membrane plate (two-hand safety circuit). During the pressing process, the membrane cushion fills with air and presses evenly against the heating plate. After the preset time has elapsed, the air first escapes from the cushion, after which the press opens automatically. The swiveling is done manually. The pressing pressure can be precisely adjusted using a pressure regulator.
 

Operation without membrane function
The membrane function can be deactivated, allowing the machine to be operated with a conventional worktop. The work process remains unchanged.

Consumables
The Teflon cover of the heating element reliably protects the heating plate from dirt such as glue residues or paint splatters and is easy to clean or replace if necessary.

A Nomex cotton cover protects the work surface and the silicone rubber and ensures that the textiles glide better over the surface when being stretched. It is washable and can be replaced.

The silicone rubber on the work surface has a significant impact on the printing result. Different hardness levels of the rubber pads create a variety of print images. Since the pads are not glued, they can be replaced at any time. By default, a medium hardness is used; softer or harder variants are available upon request.
