Membrane Function
Membrane presses feature a special air cushion in the workplate that acts like a lifting cushion. This technology compensates for protrusions such as thick seams, buttons, zippers, polo plackets, etc., almost perfectly. However, two important points must be considered when working with the membrane function:
 

• Transfers should not be pressed directly over uneven areas
• The heat resistance of the uneven areas must be ensured

Because the membrane function can be deactivated and the machine can also be equipped with standard workplates due to our quick-change system, you benefit from a high degree of flexibility.
 

Modular Design
Using a quick-change device, workplates can be replaced easily within seconds without tools. Since the plates stand freely, textiles can be conveniently stretched so that only the area to be printed rests on the plate. This brings the following advantages:
 

• Transfer prints on the reverse side are protected
• No print wrinkles
• No impressions bleed through

In addition to the standard sizes for our workplates, we also manufacture custom sizes!
 

Electrical and Display
Our clear display allows temperature and time to be set and read simply, quickly, and easily.
 

Heating Plate
Rapid heating and a uniform and constant temperature are ensured thanks to the latest Micanite heating foil technology. Our heating plates, which we manufacture ourselves, are delivered standard with a Teflon cover that is fixed with a tension device and can be replaced by the customer at any time.
Besides the standard sizes for our heating plates, we also produce custom sizes!
 

Operation with Membrane Function
To initiate the pressing process on the pneumatic membrane press Air-Swing 1000 Membrane, two pressure buttons must be pressed simultaneously for safety reasons until the heating plate rests on the work or membrane plate (two-hand safety control). During pressing, the membrane cushion fills with air and presses evenly against the heating plate. After the set time expires, the air escapes from the membrane cushion first, and then the transfer press opens automatically. The swivel motion is manual. The pressing force can be precisely adjusted using a pressure regulator.
 

Operation without Membrane Function
The workflow is the same as with pressing using the membrane function.
 

Consumables
The Teflon protection for the heater protects the heating plate from dirt such as glue or paint residues. Additionally, the Teflon can be easily cleaned or simply replaced if necessary.
A Nomex muslin cover protects the workplate and the silicone rubber. The cover also ensures that textiles glide better over the workplate when stretching. It can be washed or replaced.
The silicone rubber on the workplate significantly contributes to the print result. Due to the now very diverse printing possibilities, different results can be achieved with hard or softer silicone rubber pads. Because our pads are not glued to the workplates, the silicone rubber can be replaced at any time. Standard delivery is a medium-hard rubber. However, a soft and a hard silicone rubber can also be ordered through us.
