ELMAG PROFI 610/150 Universal lathe 

The PROFI 610/150 model has all the features of a modern universal lathe: good speed and feed selection, longitudinal and transverse feed, feed reversal, powerful feed spindle for high cutting performance and fine machining, precise lead screw for thread machining, indexing spindle for clockwise or counterclockwise rotation and easy to learn, safe operation. With a maximum turning size via slides of Ø 178 x 914 mm and a spindle bore of Ø 38 mm, the PROFI 610/150 largely meets the needs of car and body workshops, light engineering and installation companies. The machine is equipped with a spindle safety device to prevent the leading and traction spindle from being switched on simultaneously - a contribution to safe turning in training workshops and vocational schools.

The PROFI 610/150 is driven by a powerful 1,100 Watt motor. Nine speed and 16 feed stages offer a good choice for the right cutting speed. Easy-to-understand tables on the spindle head for 36 metric and 20 inch threads, good switching of the spindle and feed gears running in an oil bath and a precise tool slide make the life of the cutting technician easier.

The PROFI 610/150 model is offered with a tool cabinet base and a comprehensive range of standard equipment at a very good price/performance ratio, oil filling and test run included. A digital position indicator from SINO for optimum position control, a coolant system and other special accessories such as RÖHM lathe chucks are offered as options.
